Bread And Butter Sticks - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. oleo
    1 c. biscuit mix
    1 tsp. sugar
    1/4 c. milk
Preparation
    Melt butter in an 8 x 8 x 2-inch pan.
    In mixing bowl, combine biscuit mix, sugar and milk.
    Stir with fork until a soft dough forms.
    Beat 20 strokes until stiff, not sticky.
    Turn out onto board dusted with biscuit mix; knead gently 10 times.
    Roll to 8 x 8-inch rectangle.
    Use floured knife to cut in half lengthwise, then cut each half crosswise into 8 strips.
    In baking pan in which oleo is melted, dip each strip; coat each side.
    Arrange strips in two rows in pan.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 for 10 minutes, or until golden brown.
    Serves 16.
    Makes 16 sticks.
