Potato Refrigerator Rolls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 cake yeast
1/2 c. warm water
2/3 c. shortening
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. mashed potatoes
1 c. scalded milk
2 eggs
6 or 8 c. flour
Preparation

Mix mashed potatoes, shortening, sugar, salt and eggs.
Cream well.
Dissolve yeast in warm water.
Add to warm milk, then potato mixture.
Add flour to make stiff dough.
Put on board and knead well.
Put in large bowl; let rise double in bulk.
Knead lightly.
Rub top with melted butter.
Place in refrigerator about 1 1/2 hours.
Shape in rolls and let rise until double in size. Bake at 350\u00b0 until light brown.
