Blackberry Jam Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 eggs
    1 1/2 c. butter
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. buttermilk
    3 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. seedless blackberry jam
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1 c. raisins
    1 c. coconut
    1 tsp. allspice
    1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Cream butter and sugar together.
    Add egg yolks and buttermilk.
    Fold in sifted flour, baking powder, soda and spices.
    Mix well.
    Add jam, raisins, coconut and pecans. Whip egg whites until firm; fold into batter.
    Divide batter equally into 3 (9-inch) layer pans that have been greased and lightly floured.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes or until well done. Spread between layers and top with your favorite caramel frosting.
