Fried Green Tomatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 half ripe or green tomatoes, sliced thinly
    1/2 c. flour
    2 1/2 tsp. sugar
    2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    3/4 c. evaporated milk
    oil (enough in frying pan to fry well; maybe 1/2-inch in bottom of pan)
Preparation
    Slice and drain tomatoes on paper towel. Combine all ingredients except milk. Coat tomatoes with flour. Lay aside and mix the remaining flour with milk. Mix until smooth. Then dip slices into milk mixture and fry in hot skillet until golden brown on each side.
