Angel Flake Biscuits (Rolls) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. soda
    3 Tbsp. baking powder
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    1 c. vegetable shortening (Crisco)
    1 cake or pkg. yeast
    2 Tbsp. warm water
    2 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Sift
    dry
    ingredients
    together.
    Cut into shortening. Dissolve
    yeast
    in
    warm
    water and add yeast and milk to dry ingredients.
    Stir with fork until soft dough is formed.
    Turn out on
    lightly
    floured
    board
    and knead briefly.
    Store in tightly closed
    plastic
    bag in refrigerator.
    Use as needed. Pat dough out and cut with biscuit cutter.
    Do not let rise at any time. Bake on greased cookie sheet in preheated 450\u00b0 oven for
    10 minutes.
    This
    dough lasts a week and yields 12 biscuits per day.
