Julie'S Turtle Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    Duncan Hines German chocolate cake
    14 oz. pkg. caramels (50)
    1/2 can sweetened condensed milk
    3/4 c. melted butter
    1 c. chocolate chips
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Mix cake according to directions on box.
    Put 1/2 of the batter in a greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes and cool.
    Melt together milk, caramels and butter.
    Pour over cooled cake.
    Sprinkle with chocolate chips and nuts.
    Pour remaining batter over cake and bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes. Serve with ice cream.
