Hildegarde Aiken'S Snickerdoodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 3/4 c. flour
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Mix shortening and sugar.
    Add eggs.
    Add dry ingredients. Chill. Roll into balls the size of a small walnut. Roll balls into the mixture of 2 tablespoons sugar and 2 teaspoons cinnamon. Place about 2-inches apart on cookie sheet and bake at 400\u00b0.
