Spaghetti Tetrazzini - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. spaghetti
    1 small yellow onion, peeled and chopped
    1/2 lb. mushrooms, sliced
    1 pt. half and half
    1 c. cooked chicken or turkey, shredded
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    3/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
    4 Tbsp. margarine
Preparation
    Cook spaghetti according to package directions.
    Melt butter in a heavy 12-inch skillet over moderate heat.
    Add onion and cook, uncovered, for 3 minutes.
    Add the mushrooms and cook 2 to 3 minutes or until tender.
    Add the half and half to the skillet. Raise heat to high; bring to a boil, reduce heat to moderate and simmer for 6 to 8 minutes or until the sauce thickens.
