milk
cornstarch (to thicken)
bacon bits
Parmesan cheese
Preparation

Cook the asparagus with salt until tender.
Pour milk over vegetables.
Add thickening with cornstarch.
Butter toast.
Pour over toast.
Dribble bacon bits over top; sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
