Pumpkin Crunch Cream Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (4 serving size) pkg. Jell-O vanilla pudding
    3/4 c. pumpkin
    3/4 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
    2/3 c. slivered almonds
    2/3 c. mini chocolate chips
    3 1/2 c. (8 oz.) Cool Whip topping, thawed
    1 (6 oz.) ready-crust or graham cracker pie crust, baked and cooled
Preparation
    Pour milk into mixing bowl.
    Add pie pudding mix.
    Beat with wire whisk until well blended, 1 minute.
    Let stand 5 minutes. Blend in pumpkin, spices, almonds, chips and 2 of the whipped toppings.
    Spoon into pie crust.
    Chill 4 hours.
    Just before serving, garnish with remaining whipped topping.
