Prime Rib - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 to 6 lb. rib roast
Preparation
    Place in roasting pan on rack in a 375\u00b0 oven.
    Cook, uncovered, with fat side up 1 hour and 15 minutes. Turn oven off and do not open for 5 hours.
    Forty-five minutes before serving, add freshly ground pepper (optional).
    Return to 300\u00b0 oven until serving time.
    Roast may be rubbed with a mixture of gourmet pepper, salt, onion powder, garlic powder and paprika before cooking, if you prefer seasoning.
