Pull Taffy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. dark brown sugar
    2 c. molasses
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/3 c. water
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    pinch of soda
Preparation
    In heavy saucepan, cook sugar until it dissolves.
    Add remaining ingredients; cook to hard ball stage, stirring occasionally.
    Pour into buttered pan; let cool.
    When still warm, butter hands and pull taffy until it has a satiny finish.
    Cut to desired sizes; wrap in waxed paper.
