What'Cha Call Em Squares(Low-Fat; Low Cholesterol) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. white sugar
1 Tbsp. margarine
1/2 c. Egg Beaters
1 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
1 Tbsp. hot water
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1/2 lb. chopped dates
2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0 and grease 9-inch square pan.
Mix sugar and margarine in mixer.
Add Egg Beaters and mix well.
Add sifted dry ingredients, water, vanilla, dates and nuts.
Bake about 30 minutes until golden brown and tests clean with toothpick in center.
When cold, cut in squares.
Put swirl of maple flavored icing on top of each and place pecan piece on top of each.
