Cold Oven Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks butter or margarine
    1/2 c. Crisco
    3 c. sugar
    5 eggs
    3 c. flour, sifted
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. each lemon, vanilla and almond flavoring
    1/4 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Be sure all ingredients are at room temperature.
    Do not preheat oven.
    Cream together until fluffy the butter, Crisco and sugar.
    Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Sift together flour and baking powder.
    Add alternately with milk starting and ending with flour (4 flour, 3 milk), beating well after each addition.
    Add flavors last and beat well.
    Pour in greased and floured tube pan.
    Place in cold oven.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 20 minutes or until straw comes out clean.
