Chicken Marsala - cooking recipe

4 chicken breast halves, boned and skinned
1/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1/2 tsp. dried oregano
4 Tbsp. vegetable oil
4 Tbsp. butter
1 c. sliced mushrooms
1/2 c. Marsala wine
Preparation

Pound chicken breasts between sheets of plastic wrap until about 1/4-inch thick.
Combine flour, salt, pepper and oregano and blend well.
Heat oil and butter in heavy skillet on moderate heat until bubbling lightly.
Cook chicken breasts on medium heat until lightly brown.
As you turn breasts to second side, add mushrooms. Cook about 2 more minutes.
Stir mushrooms.
When lightly browned, add wine around chicken pieces.
Cover pan and simmer gently about 10 minutes.
