Stuffed Green Peppers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 medium green peppers
    2 1/2 slices bread
    2 Tbsp. chopped onion
    2 Tbsp. chopped celery
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 lb. ground beef
    1 bouillon cube
    1/3 c. hot water
    1/2 c. tomato juice
    1/3 c. buttered fine crumbs
Preparation
    Parboil peppers for a few minutes.
    Cut bread into 1/2-inch cubes and toast.
    Saute onion and celery in butter 2 minutes.
    Add beef and saute, stirring, until done.
    Dissolve bouillon cube in hot water and add it and the tomato juice to meat mixture.
    Heat thoroughly.
    Fold in bread cubes.
    Fill peppers with hot mixture. Top with buttered crumbs.
    Bake in greased shallow dish in 350\u00b0 oven for 15 minutes, then in 400\u00b0 oven for 5 to 10 minutes to brown top.
    Serve hot.
