Tomato Chili Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 gal. chopped, ripe tomatoes
    3 c. vinegar
    4 tsp. salt
    4 small pods hot pepper
    2 c. sugar
    1 qt. chopped onions
    4 tsp. pickling spices
Preparation
    Bag spices.
    Add all ingredients in pot.
    Bring to a boil. Cook over medium heat until slightly thick, stirring often.
    Take out spice bag.
    Put in sterile jars and seal.
    Makes approximately 4 quarts.
