Cabbage Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head cabbage
    1 1/2 lb. hamburger
    2 large cans whole tomatoes
    5 cans kidney beans
    salt, pepper and garlic to taste
    1 medium onion, diced
Preparation
    Brown hamburger and onion.
    Cut up cabbage into bite size pieces.
    In a large Dutch oven, put tomatoes, beans and cabbage. Cover with water.
    Drain hamburger and onions and pour into Dutch oven.
    Mix together.
    Simmer until cabbage is tender.
    Serve with hot cornbread.
