Popeye Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. olive oil
    2 garlic cloves
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 green pepper, chopped
    1 box frozen spinach
    2 cans black-eye peas
    2 cans Mexican corn
    2 cans crushed tomatoes
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Fry garlic in olive oil; add spinach, stirring to separate and unthaw.
    Add onion and green pepper; fry slightly.
    Add black-eyed peas (juice too), corn, crushed tomatoes, salt and pepper; cook, stirring often, about 30 minutes.
    Serve with tortilla chips.
