Baked Squash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 to 6 yellow squash, diced large and boiled (drain water)
    1 pkg. cornbread, cooked according to directions (I add 1/4 c. sugar to mine)
    2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese, divided
    1 can cream of mushroom or chicken soup
    1 egg
    1 stick butter
    1/2 c. chopped onions
Preparation
    Crumble cornbread in a large bowl.
    Add drained, boiled squash, 1 1/2 cups shredded cheese and rest of ingredients. (Reserve 1/2 cup cheese for top of casserole during last 10 minutes of baking.)
