Merl'S Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. cornstarch
1 1/2 c. boiling water
1 pkg. dry strawberry jello
4 1/2 to 5 c. sliced strawberries
2 cooked pie shells

Preparation

Mix sugar and cornstarch.
Add boiling water and stir until clear and thick.
Add jello and mix well.
Let cool.
Add strawberries to custard.
Pour into cooked pie shells.
Chill. Top with Cool Whip.
