Vidalia Sweet Onion-Sausage Casserole - cooking recipe

5 large sweet Vidalia onions, sliced
1/2 stack Ritz crackers, crumbled
1 lb. sausage meat, browned and drained
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. seasoning salt
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
1 small jar pimentos, drained
Preparation

Put 1/2 of onions in bottom of 12 x 7-inch glass dish.
Add crushed crackers, then sausage meat.
Add rest of sliced onions. Combine soup and salts and cover other ingredients in casserole. Top with layer of cheese and pimentos.
Bake in preheated oven at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
