Gingerbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. shortening
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. molasses
3 eggs, beaten
3 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. cloves
1 Tbsp. cinnamon
1 c. sour milk
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Cream shortening and sugar.
Add molasses and eggs.
Sift together dry ingredients.
Alternately add dry ingredients and milk to molasses mixture.
Turn into a well-greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 35 minutes.
Yields 12 to 15 servings.
