Angel Biscuits #1 - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. dry yeast
    3 Tbsp. warm water
    5 c. flour (plain)
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    5 Tbsp. sugar
    1 c. Crisco shortening
    2 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Blend yeast and water (set aside).
    Sift dry ingredients.
    Cut in shortening.
    Add dissolved yeast and buttermilk and blend thoroughly with fork.
    Place dough on well-floured board and knead several minutes.
    Roll out desired amount of dough and cut out biscuits.
    Place remainder of dough in plastic bag and refrigerate until needed.
    Cook at 400\u00b0 for 20 minutes or until lightly brown. Dough will keep for 10 days in refrigerator.
