Orange Carrot Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 Tbsp. grated orange rind
4 eggs
1 1/2 c. grated carrots
2/3 c. nuts
2 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 c. orange juice
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar, add spices and orange rind.
Beat in eggs, flour, baking powder and salt.
Add orange juice, turn into a greased and floured 10-inch tube pan.
Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 60 to 65 minutes.
Cool in pan 15 minutes, then turn out of pan and cool on cake rack.
Cover with orange glaze.
