Buttercream Frosting - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. milk
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. sweet butter, softened
1 c. granulated sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/8 tsp. salt
Preparation

Cook milk and cornstarch over moderate heat until thick; cool. Add remaining ingredients.
Beat with mixer at low speed for 5 to 10 minutes, until smooth.
Frosts one cake.
