Self-Filled Cupcakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
    1/3 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
    1 pkg. chocolate devil's food cake mix
Preparation
    Cream cheese with sugar; beat in egg and dash of salt.
    Stir in chocolate chips.
    Set aside.
    Prepare cake according to directions on package.
    Fill cupcake papers 2/3 full with cake mix.
    Drop one round teaspoonful of cheese mixture into each cupcake.
    Bake as directed on package.
    Frost with chocolate frosting.
