Ingredients

5 c. fresh blackberries
3/4 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/8 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1 Tbsp. milk
1 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation

Wash berries; drain well.
Place in 9-inch square baking dish. Combine 3/4 cup sugar, cornstarch and salt; sprinkle over berries.
Dot with butter.
Roll pastry for two crust pie on floured surface to 9-inch square.
Place one over berries, sealing edges to side of pan.
Cut slits in crust.
Brush crust with milk and sugar.
Bake at 425\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
Bake other crust 8 to 10 minutes.
Prick bottom with fork.
Break into pieces.
Serve with cobbler.
Good with ice cream.
