Sweet Potato Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 1/2 c. mashed sweet potatoes
3/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. ginger
1/4 tsp. cloves or 1 tsp. lemon flavoring
1 2/3 c. evaporated milk or light cream
1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
Preparation

Preheat oven to 425\u00b0.
Mix all ingredients in order listed. Pour into pie crust shell.
Bake for 15 minutes; reduce heat to 350\u00b0.
Continue baking for 45 minutes or until knife inserted into center of pie filling comes out clean. Yields 6 to 8 servings. Good with Cool Whip topping.
