Fresh Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. boiling water
1 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. strawberry jello
1 pt. fresh strawberries

Preparation

Cook the water, sugar, cornstarch and salt until thick and clear.
Stir in strawberry jello.
Cut 1 pint strawberries into a baked pie shell.
Pour cooked mixture over strawberries; chill. Cover with whipped cream or Cool Whip.
