Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. white Karo
    3 whole eggs
    1 egg yolk
    1/2 stick margarine
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 deep-dish pie crust
Preparation
    Mix sugar, syrup, margarine and salt.
    Bring to boil.
    Pour syrup mixture over well beaten eggs.
    Let cool; add pecans and vanilla.
    Pour into the unbaked pie shell.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 10 minutes; then reduce heat to 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
