Applesauce Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or 2 sticks margarine
    2 c. nuts
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    2 c. sugar
    3 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. cloves
    2 eggs
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 c. applesauce
    1 c. raisins
    2 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Sift a few teaspoons of flour over nuts and raisins.
    Cream butter and sugar; beat in eggs.
    Add the applesauce which has been heated.
    Sift flour with soda and spices.
    Stir in butter mixture. Bake in tube pan at 325\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
