Paul'S Cobbler - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. Crisco
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk
1 1/2 to 2 c. canned and drained fruit
Preparation

Cream together Crisco and sugar.
Add flour, baking powder and salt alternately with milk.
Pour into greased loaf pan or casserole.
Pour in 1 1/2 to 2 cups canned and drained fruit over batter.
Tart Mn. plums or apples with lemon juice added are good. Pour over fruit 1 cup of the fruit juice.
Bake 45 to 50 minutes at 375\u00b0.
Serve as is or with cream (not whipped cream).
