Anne Marie'S Tomato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 large semi-ripe tomatoes, cut in chunks
    1/4 c. chopped fresh basil leaves
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 medium onion, sliced thin
    4 garlic cloves, minced
    1/2 tsp. dried oregano (fresh when in season)
    1/4 c. olive oil
    1/2 c. black pitted olives or use dried black olives for more rustic look
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients in large salad bowl.
    Mix well. Garnish with pieces of curly lettuce.
    Serve with crusty old fashioned Italian bread.
