Southern Green Beans(Serves 4) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 (16 oz.) cans green beans, drained
1 small onion, sliced thin
5 strips bacon, fried crisp
5 Tbsp. brown sugar
5 Tbsp. vinegar
5 Tbsp. bacon drippings
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

Mix brown sugar, vinegar, bacon drippings and salt and pepper to taste.
Arrange green beans and onion in casserole.
Pour mixture over them.
Crumble bacon and sprinkle on top.
Cover and refrigerate overnight.
Cook 45 minutes in a 350\u00b0 oven.
