Hashed Brown Potatoes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 medium potatoes, peeled and cooked
1 tsp. grated onion
1 tsp. salt
dash of pepper
3 tsp. butter or margarine
3 tsp. bacon fat
Preparation

Grate potatoes coarsely; toss in onion, salt and pepper.
In 10-inch skillet, over high heat, heat butter with bacon fat; add potatoes.
Press firmly with turner; shape into circle, leaving 1/2 inch trough around edges.
After 12 to 15 minutes, lift potatoes to see if brown.
