Quick Minestrone - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (11 oz.) can kidney beans (undrained)
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. garlic salt
    1 clove garlic, pressed
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 Tbsp. oil
    1/4 c. chopped parsley
    1 small zucchini, unpeeled and cut into cubes
    1/4 c. uncooked elbow macaroni
    2 stalks celery, chopped
    1 small carrot, diced
    2 green onions, chopped
    4 to 5 leaves Swiss chard, chopped
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    2 1/2 c. water
    1/2 c. dry sherry
    grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Place undrained kidney beans in large pot.
    Mash 2/3 of the beans and leave the rest whole.
    Add salt, garlic salt, garlic pepper, oil and parsley.
    Stir well.
    Add all vegetables, butter, tomato sauce and water; simmer 1 hour or more.
    Add sherry and macaroni; simmer 10 to 15 minutes longer.
    Sprinkle with cheese before serving.
    Serves 6.
