Mrs. Marlin Perkins' Lemon Charlotte - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 lady fingers, split in 1/2
    1 envelope unflavored gelatin
    1/2 c. cold orange juice
    1 pkg. lemon pudding and pie filling
    2 egg whites, stiffly beaten
    1 c. heavy cream, whipped
Preparation
    Line a shallow serving bowl with split lady fingers.
    Soften gelatin in orange juice.
    Prepare pudding mix as directed on package.
    Cool.
    Fold in egg whites, then whipped cream.
    Pour into bowl.
    Chill overnight.
    Before serving, spread with whipped cream and garnish with orange sections (mandarin).
