Pepper Steak - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. sirloin, cut in 1/4-inch pieces
1 can tomatoes
2 Tbsp. cooking oil
1 onion, chopped
1 clove garlic
salt and pepper
1 green pepper, diced
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 c. cold water
2 Tbsp. soy sauce
1 small can mushrooms
1 c. hot water
Preparation

Brown meat in oil.
Add onion, garlic, salt and pepper. Dissolve bouillon in hot water and add to meat.
Cover and simmer until meat is tender, about 30 minutes.
Add tomatoes and green pepper.
Cook about 10 minutes.
Combine other ingredients into meat mixture.
Cook 10 minutes longer.
Remove garlic.
Serve over rice.
