Orange Sherbet Party Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. water
    2 pkg. (3 oz. each) strawberry jello
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 (46 oz.) can pineapple juice
    1 c. lemon juice
    1/2 gal. orange sherbet
    1 bottle ginger ale
Preparation
    Heat 2 cups water to boiling; add jello and sugar until dissolved.
    Add 2 cups cold water and fruit juices.
    Chill until ready to serve.
    Spoon sherbet into punch bowl.
    Pour over ginger ale.
