Pineapple Delight - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 small can crushed pineapple
    1 (16 oz.) Cool Whip
    vanilla wafers
Preparation
    Cream cheese and sugar together.
    Beat eggs until fluffy and add to mixture.
    Add pineapple, drained and mix.
    Fold in Cool Whip (thawed).
    Put vanilla wafers on bottom.
    Add some of the filling (mixture).
    Repeat 2 to 3 more times.
    Let filling be last on top and top it or sprinkle with chopped (finely) nuts.
    Leave in refrigerator overnight before serving.
