Brisket - Baked - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 glass or more ginger ale
    2 tsp. to 1/2 bottle ketchup
    onions (optional)
    1/2 to 1 pkg. onion soup mix
    average size brisket (about 5 or 6 lb.)
Preparation
    Place foil on bottom of large roasting pan, big enough to cover all the meat.
    Pour ingredients over meat, then wrap. Cook in oven about 3 hours at 350\u00b0.
    Cool; skim off fat.
    Slice meat and return to oven for another hour.
    Meat should be soft. More soda and ketchup can be added for last hour if desired.
