Pineapple Lemon Delight - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small can crushed pineapple
    juice of 1 lemon
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 small pkg. vanilla wafers
    1 tall can evaporated milk
    1 pkg. lemon jello
    pinch of salt
    1 c. hot water
Preparation
    Chill canned milk in refrigerator overnight.
    Crush cookies into crumbs; use half of them to line an oblong pan.
    Save the rest to put on top.
