Cherries In The Snow - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. flour
1/2 c. butter, softened
1/4 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
1/2 c. nuts
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
2 c. powdered sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 pt. whipping cream, whipped
1 can cherry pie filling
Preparation

Combine flour, butter, brown sugar and nuts in bowl.
Mix well.
Spread into an 8-inch square pan.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
Cool.
Crumble into 9 x 13-inch serving dish.
Blend cream cheese, powdered sugar and vanilla together in large bowl. Fold whipped cream into cheese mixture.
Spoon over crust.
Top with pie filling.
Freeze overnight.
Yields 12 servings.
