Oatmeal Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. boiling water
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    1 c. quick oats
    1 c. brown sugar
    2 eggs
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 Tbsp. nutmeg
    1/4 tsp. cloves
    1 Tbsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Pour boiling water over oats and butter and allow to stand 20 minutes.
    Add all ingredients to oatmeal mixture.
    When cool, blend well.
    Batter will be thin.
    Pour into Pam-sprayed 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
    Bake at 350 for 30 to 35 minutes.
