Toad-In-The-Hole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    2 eggs
    1 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. salt
    ground pepper
    1 lb. small sausage (vegetarian sausage may be substituted)
Preparation
    Mix everything but sausage in a blender.
    Refrigerate for 1 hour.
    Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
    Cook sausages.
    Arrange sausages in single layer in a 6 x 10 x 2-inch dish at least 1-inch apart. Moisten with 2 tablespoons of drippings.
    Pour batter over sausages and bake 30 minutes or until browned.
    Serve at once.
