Judy Turner'S 5 Day Pickles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 1/2 c. sugar
3 c. red vinegar (5% acidity)
1 tsp. turmeric
1 tsp. mustard seed
3 tsp. celery seed
1/4 c. pickling salt
sliced cucumbers
2 to 3 medium onions
Preparation

Slice cucumbers and onions and layer in jar.
Boil ingredients for 3 minutes.
Pour over cucumbers in jar and let sit until cool. Put in refrigerator.
Every day flip jar over a couple of times for 5 days.
Store in fridge.
