Marinated Brie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 lb. Brie, cut into 6 slices
1/4 pt. olive oil
1 tsp. dried basil
10 black peppercorns
2 cloves garlic, sliced
lettuce to serve
Preparation

Cook basil, peppercorns and sliced garlic in the oil until it starts to bubble.
(Do not overcook, or the garlic will burn.) Remove from heat; allow to cool.
Place sliced Brie on the bottom of a shallow dish.
Pour the marinade over to cover cheese.
Allow to stand for at least 4 hours before serving.
Arrange 2 or 3 slices of cheese on salad leaves; just before serving, dribble with marinade.
Serves 6.
