Smothered Onion Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 large onions, sliced
    3 Tbsp. margarine
    2 c. shredded Swiss cheese
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1/2 c. milk
    1 tsp. soy sauce
    dash of black pepper
    1 small bag Pepperidge Farm herb seasoned stuffing
Preparation
    Saute onions in the margarine until they are soft.
    Place onions in a large casserole dish; sprinkle with the Swiss cheese. Combine soup, milk, soy sauce and pepper in a saucepan.
    Cook over medium heat on the stove until thickened.
    Pour over onions.
    Top with some of the stuffing; dot with butter.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
