Rice Stuffed Cabbage Leaves - cooking recipe
Ingredients

12 cabbage leaves
12 fresh mushrooms, sliced
2 c. cooked rice (brown is best)
1/4 c. chopped celery
1/2 c. sliced onion
1 Tbsp. chopped parsley
1 tsp. sage
garlic powder to taste
1 Tbsp. soy sauce or to taste
1 c. shredded cheese
Preparation

In a large pot, parboil head of cabbage until leaves may be removed carefully, one at a time.
In small skillet, saute mushrooms.
Put rice in large bowl.
Add mushrooms, celery, onion, parsley, sage and garlic powder, then add soy sauce.
Fill lower end of each leaf with stuffing and sprinkle grated cheese over the top of rice stuffing.
Roll leaf at once, folding sides of leaf toward center; continue rolling to end.
Tie with a string or secure with a toothpick.
Lay stuffed leaves side by side in a sprayed baking dish.
Bake 20 minutes at 350\u00b0.
Serves 6.
